Nina (Juliet Stevenson) is mourning the loss of her lover, Jamie (Alan Rickman), and struggling to get on with what’s left of her life. Everything changes when Jamie suddenly reappears in Nina’s flat, playing his cello and engaging her in playful banter. Stevenson is both raw and luminous, and if you’ve only seen Rickman as a villain, well, you haven’t really seen Rickman. (MPAA Rating: PG)
