The Orem Public Library presents summer reading programs for both children and teens beginning the last week of May. These programs aim to foster continued literacy and engage the minds of young people through creative workshops, presentations, and hands-on experiences. This year’s summer reading programs will celebrate the 2016 Summer Olympics and emphasize the importance of physical and mental health while helping children and teens strengthen and develop their growing brains and muscles. Generous local vendors have provided incentives for children and teens to meet their reading goals through gift certificates, free admissions, and coupons given to participants as they meet their weekly reading goals.
