Color Art

IMG_4409Recently the library has started putting out coloring pages for patrons on the round table downstairs by the teen section in the South Wing. These intricate geometric designs are mandalas, patterns that symbolize wholeness, the cosmos, and the meaning of the universe in Buddhist and Hindu tradition. Coloring is a great way to relax and free up your mind, work out your inner feelings, and express yourself. Next time you’re in the library and you need a break from studying or life in general, come on down and fill in some shapes!
