I’ve heard a lot about how meditation can help you in so many ways but I’ve never been able to do it. Success through Stillness: Meditation Made Simple has helped me to finally be successful, and the title really is true–it WAS simple to learn.  I have been meditating the recommended 20 minutes a day for several weeks now and it has helped me so much.  The author Russell Simmons is best known in the hip hop world and he includes a lot of success stories from well known Hollywood artists.  I  read this book in a single sleepless night.  It’s very approachable and easy to read. Russell points out that you can tailor meditation to your own needs and individuality. One of his recommendations  is that if your nose starts itching, go ahead and scratch it and get back to your meditation (others advise to try to ignore it).  I highly recommend this book as a springboard to meditation. – Nathalie
