If you like music and libraries, it’s your lucky week! Check out the following concerts happening at the Orem Library.

After Hours Wizard Rock Concert: Harry and the Potters

Harry and the Potters are the first wizard rock band, consisting of brothers Joe and Paul DeGeorge. The band plays songs about books. They also helped co-found the Harry Potter Alliance, were profiled in the 2008 documentary We Are Wizards, and appear on a Trivial Pursuit card in Sweden. Since 2002, they have played nearly 800 shows in libraries, rock clubs, art spaces, bookstores, basements, and pizza places all over the world. Bring a new or gently used book to donate to United Way’s Everyday Learners as your ticket to get into this special after hours concert. Recommended for ages 12 & up. Costumes are encouraged!

Cantorum

Cantorum Chamber Choir is an elite early music vocal ensemble of twenty-six singers from across the Wasatch Front. They specialize in performing a cappella sacred vocal music and regularly present concerts spanning 500 years of choral music.

UVU Chamber Choir

Where words end, music begins. UVU’s award-winning Chamber Choir will present ‘Song of the Shulamite,’ a stunning presentation of love poetry from the Song of Solomon, featuring Melissa Heath, soprano; Doug Smith, marimba; Tracy Furr, vibraphone; and Kate Zurcher, harp.
