Are you a creative person who likes to make things and know how things are made and put together? Do you ever wish you could design and build projects at the library? Come help us test and develop ideas and equipment for our Library Makerspace!
The Orem Library is planning to open a makerspace later this year in the South Wing of the Library in this room downstairs by the Internet Area. We hope to eventually offer a variety of useful machines and equipment that will help people hone their artistic, technological, and mechanical skills while learning new ones. But right now we need some imaginative folks to give us feedback on our plans and test the early stages of our makerspace.
If you are interested in being a participant in our Library Makerspace Pilot Program, fill out and submit this form and we will be in touch soon. Applicants should be 13 or older if applying to use the makerspace without a parent or supervising adult.
