There’s nothing like an evening of music to clear your mind and refresh your spirit at the end of a long day. Here are some upcoming concerts and musical programs to enjoy the rest of this month.


Death by Aria
Thursday, July 13 & Friday, July 14 | 7:00 PM | Fireplace

Death by Aria is an elimination-based vocal competition for opera singers from all over the USA who come to Utah each summer to perform operas and receive training with Utah Lyric Opera. The competition is an audience participation event, designed to encourage singers to find ways to appeal to the non-opera goer. Judges from all walks of life (EXCEPT MUSIC), and the audience will advance or reject singers as they perform opera arias in 3 rounds of elimination. The last one standing takes home cash and prizes, while the rest suffer death by aria.


Beethoven Festival Artist Showcase Concert
Wednesday, July 19 | 7:00 PM | Fireplace

Internationally acclaimed artists will present an evening of delightful chamber music featuring a clarinet quintet and a duo for violin and viola by Mozart, and a piano quintet by Dvorak.


Summer Concert Series
Mondays | 7:00 PM | The Stage at City Center Park

July 17: Deep Red Dirt

A powerhouse country music band bringing tight harmonies and engaging instrumentals that will put a smile on your face and have you rockin’ in your seat.

July 24: Bluegrass Thunder

A very popular act on the Orem stage playing bluegrass, western, country, and contemporary songs featuring fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar, and bass.

July 31: New Hot Five

They’ve been all over the world, but they’re coming to Orem this summer. Don’t miss this American New Orleans-style band specializing in classic jazz legends!
